 CALL OF THE WILD

Around here, history jumps out of dusty ole books as you roam the very land Billy the Kid called 'home!' All the magic and mystery and tragedy of the Wild West comes alive in this inspiring land. Visit Fox Cave, reportedly one of Billy's hiding spots as well as for many an Apache warrior - the cave is now home to the Ruidoso River Museum which houses tons of Western and Native memorabilia. Take in the Hubbard Museum of the American West; or be amazed by the dramatic and historical re-enactments at Fort Stanton and the annual re-creation of Billy's infamous excape from the Lincoln County jail.

Ruidoso is the place for your next family reunion, wedding, graduation party, or 'girls only' weekends - not to mention the more serious and sedate business meeting or convention. The offerings here are many whether for business or pleasure. Our incomparable surroundings and service will ensure you remember Ruidoso for all your future happenings!
